Social responsibility is nowadays an essential element in the growth of societies based on bearing principles of responsibility that the Kingdom's Vision 2030 aims to through one of its main axes, "the ambitious homeland", which is characterized by its two elements, an effective government and responsible citizen. The aim is to reach a high-performance government characterized by effectiveness, transparency, accountability and empowerment. Citizens, the private sector and non-profit organizations should take the initiative in exploring the opportunities available to achieve the vision’s goals.
From this standpoint, the university tends to be the leader in the field of social responsibility, through which it aims to consolidate the concept of social responsibility, and develop strategies and systems that contribute to the development and organization of community service areas inside and outside the Kingdom. Hence, the administration provides logistical support in cooperation with various sectors and disciplines to accomplish and strengthening social initiatives and programmes.
The administration coordinates and arranges between the units of community partnerships and community service in the various sectors of the university with the aim of creating an appropriate and effective work environment, and adopting the principle of teamwork.
